Erika Bettin

Erika Bettin is an Italian dancer/circus actress. She began studying the Vaganova classic dance method and subsequently studied modern jazz and contemporary in the professional biennial course modern-jazz/contemporary of OPUS BALLET (2004/06). In September 2006 she began training in the contemporary circus arts of FLIC in Turin. Since 2007, she has participated in ceremonies and important events such as new FIAT 500, 20th World Environmental Energy conference and more. In 2009/10 she participated in the creation of the dance show produced by Centre d'Arts Esceniques Reus with Enclave Dance Company by Roberto Olivan, in a work entitled Mermaid's Call.

In 2011, Bettin founded the MagdaClan Circus with other Italian artists and the director Roberto Magro. With artists from various parts of the world they created the show ERA Sonnet by a Clown with Petr Forman’s assistance. From August 2015 to November 2017, she joined the Swiss company Finzi Pasca as an interpreter in the show La Verità and Per te and traveled to Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, New York, Hong Kong, France and Belgium.

She is teaching contemporary acrobatic dance for FLIC. Bettin is often requested as an outside eye for the choreography of other companies. Since 2015, she directs her energies as support for personal dance projects, rediscovering instinctive and primitive art that profoundly influence her artistic work in which the Human/Animal is in strong relationship with Nature/Elements and its Spirituality.
