About SOLO

SOLO is a commissioning program of the McKnight Fellowships for Dancers. As part of the awarded fellowship, the McKnight Fellowship program commissions a choreographer of each Dancer Fellow’s choosing to create a work expressly for them. These new works are presented every other year as part of an evening titled SOLO.

Save-the-Date for SOLO next fall – Sept 18 & 19, 2026 at The O’Shaughnessy.
Featured Dancer Fellows will include Alhassane Bangoura, Kealoha Ferreira, Tumelo Khupe, Andrew Lester, Eva Mohn and Cecil Neal.
